Dan Holder
Prior to founding Daniel E. Holder & Associates, Dan Holder was a partner at Clifton Gunderson. Dan graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1973. He received his law degree from Loyola School of Law in 1979, where he was the managing editor of the Loyola Law Review. Prior to law school, Dan was a captain in the United States Marine Corps, and received an honorable discharge in 1979. Dan began his accounting career in 1981 and has since been providing accounting, tax, and planning and business services. Dan is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and a licensed attorney in the states of Illinois and Louisiana.
Chas Holder
Chas Holder is an associate with Daniel E. Holder & Associates. Chas graduated in 2008 from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in finance and accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce. He then received his law degree from Washington and Lee University in 2011, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Order of the Coif. While in law school, Chas was a staff writer on the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice, on the Moot Court executive board, and volunteered his time and services to assist indigent citizens prepare tax returns and provide business counseling. He received his CPA in 2008. Chas’ practice areas include corporate, personal, trust, estate and gift, tax appeals, business planning, valuation, payroll, and general accounting services.
